Cooking Instructions:
1. Wash
Insert deep cuts into the chicken pieces. Wash thoroughly with salt and turmeric. Set aside.
2. Marinate (Minimum 2–3 hours)
In a bowl or pot, mix mustard oil and chilli powder first. Then add curd, ginger garlic paste, green chilli paste, Boom Tandoori Chicken Garam Masala, salt, additional chilli powder (to taste), ghee, and lemon juice. Mix well until fully combined. Apply this marinade all over the chicken, making sure it gets into the cuts. Cover and marinate for at least 2–3 hours (overnight for best results).
3. Roast
Roast the marinated chicken using one of the following methods:
-
In an oven: Preheat to 375°F (190°C) and roast for 45 minutes, basting occasionally with melted ghee or butter.
-
In a tandoor: Roast until well-charred and cooked through.
-
On the stove: Sauté in a pan until the chicken is fully cooked and lightly roasted.
4. Smoke (Optional)
Place the cooked chicken in a pot. In the center, place a small foil cup or bowl. Heat a piece of charcoal until red hot, place it in the foil, and pour a few drops of oil or ghee over it. Quickly cover the pot with a lid and let it infuse for 10 minutes.
5. Serve
Serve hot with mint chutney, sliced onions, and lemon wedges.
Enjoy your aromatic and flavorful Tandoori Chicken!
