Cooking Instructions:
1. Wash & Prep
Make deep cuts on the chicken pieces to help the marinade absorb well.
Wash thoroughly using salt and turmeric. Set aside.
2. Marinate (Minimum 2–3 hours)
In a mixing bowl or pot, start by combining oil and chilli powder. Mix well to bring out the color.
Add the following ingredients:
-
Curd (yogurt)
-
Ginger garlic paste
-
Green chilli paste
-
BOOM Chicken Tikka Garam Masala
-
Salt and additional chilli powder (as per taste)
-
Ghee
-
Tomato ketchup
-
Soy sauce
-
Juice of 1 lemon
Mix everything thoroughly into a smooth marinade. Apply it generously over the chicken, making sure it gets into the cuts. Cover and marinate for at least 2–3 hours (longer for deeper flavor).
3. Roast the Chicken
Choose your preferred method:
-
Oven: Preheat to 375°F (190°C) and roast the chicken for 45 minutes, basting it with melted ghee or butter halfway through.
-
Tandoor: Roast until nicely charred and fully cooked.
-
Stovetop Pan: Sauté the chicken until well roasted and cooked through.
4. Add Smoky Flavour (Optional but Recommended)
Place the cooked chicken tikka pieces in a pot.
In the center, place a small piece of foil or a metal bowl.
Heat a piece of charcoal until red hot, place it on the foil, and drizzle a few drops of oil over it.
Quickly cover the pot with a lid and let it infuse the smoky flavor for 10 minutes.
5. Serve
Serve hot with fresh mint chutney, sliced onions, and lemon wedges.
Enjoy your aromatic and flavorful Chicken!
